A Space to Be Heard
There are times when we feel disconnected—from ourselves, our relationships, our sense of purpose, or the life we once imagined.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you are carrying, and explore what comes next.
People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes there is a clear concern. Other times, something simply feels heavy, confusing, or harder to manage than it used to.
Therapy may be helpful if you’re experiencing:
You don’t need to have a diagnosis or wait until things feel unmanageable. If something is affecting how you feel, think, relate, or move through everyday life, therapy can be a place to begin.
Find Your Starting Point
Hi, I’m Maithili.
I’m a Trauma-Informed Counselling Psychologist with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, New York. I have previously worked as a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) in New York, USA, and have clinical experience across the United States and India.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on trauma, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, grief, and life transitions.
I see therapy as a space to understand yourself with greater compassion, make sense of what you’re going through, and find ways forward that feel meaningful to you.
My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based, creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood.
Three steps. No pressure.
01
Take the first step in whatever way feels easiest. You can call, message, or book an appointment online.
02
Begin where you are
Come as you are. We’ll talk about what’s been on your mind, what you’re going through, and what you hope might feel different.
03
Together, we’ll find a pace and direction that feels right for you. There’s no need to have everything figured out from the beginning.

WHEN YOU’RE READY
Call us, start a WhatsApp conversation or request an appointment online. You can begin with as little as one sentence.
A space just for you
A space to slow down, talk things through, and make sense of what you’ve been carrying.
Individual counselling offers a private space to talk about what you’re experiencing and understand yourself with greater clarity. Together, we look at the thoughts, emotions, patterns, and relationships that may be affecting your everyday life, while working towards changes that feel meaningful and manageable.
Therapy may be helpful when you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, or struggles with self-esteem. It can also be a space for deeper self-understanding, even when there isn’t one specific problem you can point to.
This is not about having everything figured out. It is about having a space to pause, reflect, and work through things at your own pace.
Growing minds
A supportive space for children and adolescents as they understand their feelings, build confidence, and navigate the challenges of growing up.
Growing up comes with its own set of emotional, social, and developmental challenges. Counselling can give children and adolescents a space to express what they may find difficult to put into words and develop healthier ways of understanding and managing their experiences.
Depending on their age, needs, and developmental stage, sessions may include talking, play, creative activities, or other age-appropriate approaches.
Support may be helpful for difficulties with emotional regulation, anxiety, self-esteem, Behaviour, relationships, school-related stress, trauma, or adjustment to significant changes.
Where appropriate, parents or caregivers may also be involved, helping extend the support beyond the therapy room.
A safe place to begin
A space to gently make sense of difficult experiences and understand how they may still be affecting you today.
Some experiences leave a lasting imprint, shaping how we think, feel, relate to others, and experience everyday life long after they have happened.
Trauma-focused counselling helps understand how difficult and traumatic experiences can affect safety, trust, relationships, and the body. You remain involved in decisions about your care and are never expected to share more than you are ready to discuss.
Drawing on trauma-informed approaches and specialized training, therapy can help you make sense of what happened, recognize patterns that may have developed in response, and find ways to feel more grounded and secure in the present.
This support may be helpful for those working through past trauma, difficult or distressing childhood experiences, loss, or other life events that continue to affect emotional well-being, relationships, or day-to-day life.
You don’t have to work through everything at once. The process is guided by your needs, boundaries, and readiness.
